Palisade / ForgeForge / Operating Layer
Forge resolves live market signal, inventory state, buyer intent, and material lineage into a single operating surface for industrial decisions.
Forge / The decision surface
Every Forge surface routes against a working asset — a mill, a lane, a contract — that exists in the world. The systems below are how operators commit to those assets without drift.

SKU-aware queries return market, performance, and conversational reports — downloadable, shareable, hot-linked. Reasoning stays visible inline; every report retains the full chain. Knowledge that lived with one operator becomes searchable across the firm.

Forge / Planning
Forge drafts the plan, surfaces the open questions, and routes the work — operators stay focused on the decisions only they can make.

Plan: Procurement window for Q3 HRC
let's draft a procurement window for Q3 hot-rolled coil based on MESO-1 demand recovery signals in the Midwest
Drafted the procurement window in procurement-plan.md. Two questions before I commit:
Questions
What conviction floor should trigger entry?
Open a 4.2-day procurement window against the Midwest hot-rolled coil cluster. MESO-1 demand recovery signal is leading mill-side print by ~96 hours; cost basis is achievable at −2.4% to index.
Trigger
MESO-1 conviction crosses 60% on US-MW HRC cluster, paired with operator approval in Mission Control.
Exit
Close the window when the recovery signal compresses or distributor lane density crosses the saturation threshold.
3 Tasks
Each surface handles one part of the loop — underwriting, dialogue, investigation, audit — against the same working book.

Converse, Provenance, and inventory ingest preserve the reasoning, record, and book state behind each action.

May 28 · 08:00What's in Forge
Forge is composed of five distinct systems — each addressing a different surface of the operator's day. Open one to see what it does and why it matters.
Morning and midday MESO-1 reports, intelligence analysis, and recommended actions converge into one routable view.
The first surface most operators meet — and the moment business data becomes a working asset rather than a static file.
Where Mission Control speaks about the market, Converse speaks about the business — your inventory, your operators, your reports.
Where Converse handles linear questions, Research runs non-linear graph-of-graphs investigations across company data, signal stack, and the broader market.
Heat codes are not universal. Provenance solves traceability with append-only ledgers per lot, owned by exactly one party at a time.
Governance and Security
Operator-defined autonomy. Set the conviction floor at which Forge acts on its own — from approving every routed inquiry to letting the system clear aging lots without intervention. Configurable per role and per lane.
Your data, secure and isolated. Operator inventory and exchange data is partitioned per tenant. No cross-customer training, no signal leakage, no inventory state shared with peer distributors. ZDR and BYO-LLM available on enterprise plans.
Full reasoning transparency. Every action Forge takes is logged with the signal that produced it, the conviction it carried, and the operator who approved it. Read the chain end-to-end in Provenance, not after the fact.
Enterprise-grade controls. SAML-based SSO, role-based access, and granular permission scopes for procurement, clearing, and provenance routing. Approval chains scale with the operator org.
Privacy, even from the model. Operator-defined redaction rules strip sensitive counterparty terms, pricing covenants, and customer identifiers before any signal touches MESO-1. Sensitive values never reach the model surface.
ERP and accounting integrations. Read SKU state, lot ledgers, and procurement records directly from SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or your in-house system. Forge writes back without disrupting the books.
Decide where the spread is.
